Who is it for?
Students and recent grads looking for a first job or internship. You need to be 18 or older to use MyFirstRole.
Do I need a resume?
No. Start with your transcript, essays or projects. A resume helps, but it's optional.
Do I need a school email?
No. You can sign up with your school email or a personal one. If you use a personal email, we'll ask for one proof that you're a student or recent grad: a student ID photo, an enrollment or degree letter, or an unofficial transcript screenshot. A person on our team reviews it, usually within a day, and you can keep setting up while you wait.
Do you send messages for me?
No. We draft messages that lead with what the company is working on and where you fit. You edit and decide what to send.
What happens after January?
Founding members get a discount on paid plans. We'll tell you the details before anything changes, and nothing is charged without your OK.
Is my information safe?
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't use your resume, essays or messages to show you ads or to train AI models. We use what you share to build your profile, research companies and draft your messages. Nothing goes to an employer unless you click Send. If you connect Gmail, we can send email from your address but can't read your inbox. Your data is encrypted, and you can delete it at any time. Read our Privacy Policy for the details.
